It’s All In The Details…

I’m a bit obsessed with the lighting in this entryway. The brass palm pendant is gorgeous and such a statement piece, and the white leaf sconces are an all-time favorite (I even have the pendant in our entryway at home in the ‘gild’ color and it is stunning). The juxtaposition of the draping down of the palm pendant, and the rising up of the leaf sconces is a favorite design element of this room.

I love the pattern on pattern, especially when mixing stripes with a fun print, and the pink ticking stripe x benches pair beautifully with the colorful wallpaper behind it. The x benches are a favorite, and I often use them in my designs- as they come in so many lovely fabric patterns!

The x benches are also a practical space to take a seat, to take off or put on your shoes, and the hyacinth baskets are a convenient and practical shoe storage solution (that still looks pretty!). I love the symmetry of the x benches, and if you have kids (we have 6!) then you know there’s often more than 1 person at a time rushing to find a seat to put on shoes to run out the door. Problem solved! (If you don’t have 6 kids that is 🫠)

I absolutely LOVE the large wave bowl (on the coffee table books), with it’s handmade organic look, ode to the sea, and the practicality of having somewhere to throw keys, or mail, or maybe a couple dog treats for the pups.
