Get inspired by this lovely classic foyer mood board! With a mix of green, blue, and white- this mood board design features fun pops of color, as well as classic natural tones. From pretty floral prints to a classic wallpaper- you’ll love it!

From a gorgeous matte tortoise finish console to a stunning oversized bowl full of hydrangeas, from splurge-worthy favorites to affordable table lamps, this room pieces together some favorite finds, including the lovely Acanthus Stripe wallpaper by Schumacher.
Everything will be linked at the end of this post, but first, let’s jump into all the details as to why you’ll LOVE this classic foyer design mood board design!
Why You’ll Love Acanthus Stripe Wallpaper

This neutral wallpaper is truly gorgeous! If you’re looking for a light colored wallpaper that feels traditional, and simple yet full of life, all in one, then the Schumacher Acanthus Stripe Sisal wallpaper in the color Fog and Chalk is a fabulous choice!
This stunning wallpaper features a classic acanthus motif that brings a nature-inspired element to an otherwise classic stripe. The detail in this pattern is so gorgeous- the pictures honestly don’t do it justice! The pattern feels traditional, the taupe and white colors feel uplifting, yet calm and serene all in one (truly perfect for any room!) and the acanthus stripe pattern is the perfect backdrop that doesn’t take away from the rest of the room, yet adds a captivating visual interest.
I truly love a good wallpaper that feels timeless, yet fun! And the Acanthus Stripe wallpaper by Schumacher fits the bill. Especially in this fog and chalk color combination.
This wallpaper can be the perfect versatile backdrop for other colors you’d like to add to the room- whether it be side chairs, furniture, artwork, etc. You could add colorful lacquered furniture, colorful artwork or decor, or a lovely combination of colorful pillows on a sofa or armchairs in a living room.
For this specific shade of taupe, I love pairing it with pops of green, blue, and white. If you’re looking to pair it with lacquered furniture or painted trim, be sure to check out my bestselling Paint Guides for the prettiest paint color round ups!
Why You’ll Love This Entryway Foyer Mood Board
(All links will be listed further down the post!)

This beautiful classic foyer design has the perfect mix of versatile elements like the sisal wallpaper, the tortoise finish console table, the lovely rattan table lamps, and fun pops of color- with the colorful green velvet chairs, the beautiful blue and white oversized bowl, and of course, the colorful gorgeous green oushak rug!
Not only is this entryway design mood board pretty, it’s functional too! The baskets serve as somewhere to hide your shoes, the green velvet is durable and relatively easy to clean (a win in my book as a mom of 6 kids), and the drawers provide storage for anything you need as you’re about to head out the door- keys, wallet, dog leash, etc.
A Mix Of High and Low Finds:
While this classic foyer mood board design has some splurges (worth it!), such as the beautiful wallpaper and the timeless tortoise finish console table (I need this!), there are also some really great affordable finds!
The brass plated table lamps look like Serena and Lily, but it’s actually an affordable pair for under $60!

And while I linked a favorite set of faux hydrangeas- you can easily dry a bunch of real hydrangeas when they are at their peak chartreuse color and use them year round- straight from the garden (for free!).

It’s All In The Details…
First and foremost, Schumacher Acanthus Stripe is a favorite wallpaper design- the details up close are truly stunning! As much as I love a good neutral jute/sisal rug to ground the space, I really love a colorful oushak, and this one is so pretty!
I love love love the leaf pattern on the oversized blue and white bowl and how it pairs beautifully with the green hydrangeas- such a perfect combination of blue, green and white (my forever favorite color combo).
The botanical prints are so soft and pretty- and they’re the perfect complement of white against the taupe and white wallpaper.
